Drama and One Acts –
Football – Coach Mike Jamison led the Bobcats to a 7-2 season. All-Conference team player recipients Dan Lliteras, Dave Roes, and Grant Campbell.
Volleyball – Rosann Stumf as the only senior on the squad led the inexperienced team. She was voted to the All-Confernece team unanimously. The teams coach was Duane Lembke.
Cross Country –
Girls Basketball –
Boys Basketball – Three senior starters Bob Haas, Dan Lliteras, and Dave Roes coached by Dale Rien for a 16-6 record.
Wrestling – Coach Mike Jamison led the wrestlers to an 8-3 season. Four wrestlers make state Kirt Kiester, Terry Elliott, Brian Wacker, and Greg Elliott.
Girls Track and Field – Leisa Garner was the high scorer for the teach and accomplished a state berth. Nancy Lembke and Jennifer Uhrig were top scorers for the team.
Boys Track and Field – Four state qualifiers Dan Lliteras, Tom Zajic, Joe Lliteras, and Dave Roes.
Golf –A team of six, placed second in most meets, Mike Delsing, Chuck Schmitt, Bruce Delsing, Brenda Jespersen, Gay Kiester, and John Sherlock.
Clubs and Activities – Cheerleaders Joan Gasseling, Rosann Stumf, Sonya Heinz, and Jane Phillips. The FFA team finished fourth at state, one individual and four teams also placing. At the District FHA convention, Mrs Volkmer was elected district advisor, and Mary Schekall District president. At the state convention, Rosann Stumf was elected vice president. H-Club President Doug Messersmith, Vice president Mike Kresl, Secretary-treasurer Bob Haas.
Homecoming Royalty –King Bob Haas, Queen Sonya Heinz, attendants Rosann Stumf, Dave Roes, Toni Kresl, and Keri Votruba. Anything Goes was the fifties day contest and the halls were decorated with red and white streamers as part of the spirit week festivities.
Sophmores won the Anything Goes - “Fonz”contest, hall decorations won first place by the cheerleaders.
Prom Royalty – King Dave Roes, Queen Rosann Stumf, attendants Lori Laeger, Sue Smith, Gailene Horstman, Mike Schekall, and Jamie Roes.
Prom Theme –Dream On with decorations of two shades of blue and silver streamers, a center chandelier and floating candles.
